i read the 2mb l2 cache bit as 1mb of l2 cache per core - dual core cpu, therefore in total 2mb l2 cache... not 2mb per core (if thats what you meant)

Sweet, my Dad is going to NY this month, so I can get an X2 4200+ for £99, compared to £130~ over here.

Do US components work in UK machines? Is there such a thing as a "UK" Machine?

techinically, *** fastest dual core is the FX-60, which had a stock speed of 2.6GHz, while the fastest single core was the FX-57, with a clock speed of 2.8GHz.
