Hey Guys i have been lurking for a bit now, but have decided to get back into Pc Gaming to go alongside my macbook pro as it plays games ok but gets quite hot and isnt ideal. I am just after a mid range Pc Having read multiple "spec me threads" i have come up with the below components can someone just check through to make sure all are compatable and recommendations etc?

I will be mainly be using the Pc for WoW and RTS games will be buying the BenQ 22 LED screen to go along with it am looking to overclock and unlocking the second core would be a bonus!

Budget is £700 and thats for everything including wireless card, keyboard mouse and monitor and i dont need an OS. (DVD drive is just out of view but on the list)

Cheers guys

Excellent thanks stulid if im looking at unlocking is it a good idea to get a aftermarket cpu cooler? and would getting the 600w psu make much of a difference?

Only need a better cooler if your going to overclock. The stock cooler is the same as supplied with a quad core.

You don't need the other psu, but its only a fiver more.

EDIT. Unlocking extra cores is not a certainty!

The phenom II x2 555 has a better chance of unlocking and is a better overclocker I believe.

Agree with those above, get a cpu cooler if you are doing any overclocking (and with a BE cpu why wouldnt you :p) even if it is a budget one (eg hyper tx3)

I think the stock cooler will be fine for overclocking as a dual core (assuming it's the heatpipe version). If it unlocks to quad, check your temps and noise. Just go for the improved cooler if you need one.
