The Starfield bundle is making the AMD cards look a bit more enticing. Even the previous gen cards get it. Not sure why the 6950XT got excluded though given its a reference card.

It is not excluded, you should get the premium code edition with the 6950XT. Going to the ones on OCUK site and can see it saying you get the game bundle. EDIT, sorry seems reference does not but others do which seems odd.

But yes its pretty awesome well at least for me as, I made an upgrade, partly as an itch and partly in anticipation for starfield and grabbed the 7000 x3d. So getting the code was a bonus :D

Nice thing also is it Steam Code you get, was expecting a Xbox code tbh.

Perhaps because it's EOL stock, either from AMD or that OCUK have been holding for a while, or perhaps it's an oversight that it's been missed - maybe @Gibbo can clear that one up?

What I'm more (pleasantly) shocked by though, is that right down to <£200 RX6600 are included! Absolute no-brainer for entry level systems! :)

Yes just the reference card. But the reference 7900XT has it. Perhaps it is a mistake.

Yep haha. My 7800X3D is on order.

Definitely. A £60 game worth 30% of the card. Great deal for the lower budget 1080p gamers.

Definitely, although having just looked again, I'd recommend the 6650XT at £230 over that....also kinda relieved the 6500XT isn't included, so no-one will get suckered in to buying one of those :D

That Red Dragon 6800XT is tempting me even more than it already was!

Yeah I looked twice at that earlier today too!

What you got now?

3060ti (FE) tbh I really like it for the most part, the cooler is a beautiful piece of engineering (and feels more dense/solid than bigger cards I've had before), but the 6800XT is around 40-50% faster and 100% more VRAM :p
The only game I play that would be noticeable at the moment would be ARK:SE, which can get a bit choppy on bigger maps/with mods on a mix of high+ultra at 1440....The remaster is coming towards the end of the year which I think will push me more towards at least a 7900xt/4070ti

But before I get around to that, I really need to get my 5950x back in and determine if I need to replace my motherboard (running my old 3700x for now which it seems fine with, but is only a 65w part!)

The 6800XT would certainly be a nice upgrade but probably not a revolutionary one that would last as long as a current gen. Perhaps wait out on the 7900s coming down? The 4070Ti was my choice until I realised the built-in limited life due to the vRAM limitations.

Yeah exactly my thinking, I'm aiming for something closer to twice as fast as what I have now, but happy to wait a while for something more sensible - Can't bring myself to buy a 7900xt at the moment as they're around £100 more than they were a couple of months back....4090 seems like the only thing that represents any subjective 'value', but I don't game enough to warrant the expense! A 2nd hand 7900xt from a reputable seller would probably turn my head, missed a couple not too long ago that in retrospect I wish I'd gone for!

Edit: but anyway, this has now veered quite a way from the topic of the starfield bundle so I'll leave it at that :)

Who knows but I think we'll probably see 7900XTs for closer to £700 again. We hope.
