I purchased a qualifying product and went through the palaver of registering with AMD for a code. I now hear that preloads have started, so I'm wondering when I will get my code? It's not in my Steam library, nor in my Microsoft Store library.

Here's what I got from AMD a month ago:

Congratulations on reserving Starfield™ Standard Edition! We will update your account and notify you as soon as the content key is available.

Well seeing as those who got the Premium version got their keys just after midnight last night, I suspect the Standard version keys to be released in 5 days or so.

Premium get a 5 day head-start, right?

Bizarrely, just received my code for the Standard edition that I only pre-ordered yesterday.

Might actually manage to download it in time for launch day now in 2 weeks time.

When I ordered my key from CDKEYS it said I wouldn't be able to get the key until release day but I just checked my account and was able to get my key and activate it on Steam.

When I log in to AMD Rewards web site I can view the bundle for:

Starfield™ Premium Edition - Steam

Congratulations on reserving Starfield™ Premium Edition! We will update your account and notify you as soon as the content key is available.

Your key will be assigned as soon as it is available.
Release Date: 2023-09-01
The release date is determined by the publisher and may change without notice.

So either keep loging in to your account to check for updates, or wait for them to contact you (email I would assume).

Thanks, havent looked at my account since redeeming the code but will soon ... i'm due the premium edition too from my 7950 X3D purchase.

Have redeemed my code on AMD Rewards and get the following:

Will be interesting to see when the key is available.

It has been announced on sites that the game will be available to download from Steam on 30th August and open for play from 1:00am BST on the 1st September for Premium Edition.

Just hope the AMD Rewards keys come through before the 30th Aug thus allowing sufficient time to download ~145GB game !

Keep checking in on it.

I redeemed Farcry 6 (I think) through that and it said the same thing, and it never notified me at all.

To be fair I couldnt care less about that game and then forgot about it, and only realised when I signed back in to redeem Starfield and saw it there.

I said in the other thread and say the same here, I think it'll be a cluster ****. When the release the codes every man and his dog are going to log into the AMD site which I guarantee isn't geared up to handle the traffic, that'll crash, then cause all sorts of problems with maybe the request for the code being sent, received and then lost on the way back etc.

Obviously, I hope I get proven wrong.

I think your so right ! Given the hype and expectation for this game and how other AAA titles launches have been over the last few years.
