Alright, I know it sounds like a stupid question, but the second comp in my sig has a silly little Spire fan that has trouble keeping the E2140 under 60*C when in normal use.

I recently ordered 3 stock AMD fans from here, I've seen some universal brackets on coolers which use the same clip AMD do in the middle but it branches off to 775 clips.

Best diagram evar I know, but ignore the ...s, that's basically what it looks like.

Does anybody know which cooler this bracket is from? I know for fact I've seen a pic of one somewhere but I just can't put a name to it.

The AMD stock fan performs close to my TX3 so it'd work wonders on the downstairs one on the cheap.

Cheers

EDIT: NVM, I've now put my TX3 in the one downstairs lol.

I would, but I've just splashed out on a netbook and am broke :p the stock cooler with heatpipes is only a few degrees worse than my TX3 so my TX3's now in that one and the stock cooler in my own.

I'm sure somebody has a cooler lying around that they could give you for cheap on the MM

Thread revival!

No point making a new one really, has anybody else used these heatpipe coolers? I have two, and the fans on both have died within 2 days with a lovely scrapey scrapey noise. Am I doing something wrong
