**AMD THREADRIPPER COMPATIBLE COOLERS**

Hi,

As everyone should now be aware, AMD have just launched the new Threadripper CPU to the market. The retail version of the CPU comes with an ASETEK bracket in the box meaning some AIO coolers will work right away.

Below is a list of compatible coolers that AMD have checked and tested:

How is the smaller surface area not covering the whole ihs effecting the cooling performance and cpu clock speeds ?

It would be cool to have a separate list of TR4 designed coolers that will cover the whole ihs.

Currently on 3 designed coolers which will be available at the end of august by Noctua. The list above are approved coolers by AMD.

Also we will have results shortly but I will say that 240+ or water cooling if you are overclocking. If not the list is enough and this is why you get a bracket with the CPU.

It would be cool to have a separate list of TR4 designed coolers that will cover the whole ihs.

Would also be pointless as covering the whole IHS gives no benefit over just covering the CPU dies.
