That indeed is an amazing tv, and has very low latency for gaming. How is it going with 1080p content? I wonder if the new gpus can feed this beasty. I so want to get a 4k monitor but need to see a single gpu able to go ultra 60fps on 4k which might take a while.

Well i've not tried any PC games on it at 1080p (Other than the Heaven 4.0 benchmark) but PS4 and Xbox One games both look as good, if not better than my 1080p VT50 Plasma.

Blu-rays look great as well.

most games look pretty good at 4k, but one game at 4k that surprised me was Black Flag. That looks superb and the graphics aren't exactly cutting edge.

i have a 55'' panny plasma it's excellent for gaming at 1080p........ only OLED beats it, if the tech survives that is..

my next tv has to outperform my Panasonic easily before it's worth upgrading, but there isn't a tv around yet that can do it, maybe in a year from now.

I used to have a 4870x2 back in the day. I can't remember what it's TDP was but it genuinely used to heat my room up during long gaming sessions.
