Are we expecting AMD to finally step up to the plate and compete with the Intel Q6600 ??

Well Barcelona is a server chip I believe, so I don't think they'll be competing with the Q6600 until nearer 2008 (with Shanghai IIRC).

Ho-hum... those brave (or rich) enough to shell out for the dual Skt F board from ASUS (the LIN... one) should be able to move to octa-core with a bios update. Maybe?

Without FB-DIMMs, too!
