The AMD Trinity FM2 platform is in short pretty damn amazing. AMD clearly now own the entry-mainstream level of processors with onboard Graphics. In our own testing of the A10-5800k we have seen overclocks ranging between 4.6-4.8GHz on air-cooling, managed to overclock the GPU upto 1150MHz and using 2400MHz memory gives a serious boost to the onboard graphics performance.
The results in short is an APU that can actually play the latest titles at acceptable frame rates with a recommended resolution of 1680x1050 and maximum of 1920x1080. Another serious advantage of the new processors is they support eye-infinity out of the box, so you can now easily run three monitors from the onboard setup. Adding in a discreet HD 6670 nearly doubles performance in certain titles.
Even more so this new CPU runs so cool with a decent air cooler you can run more or less in silence even with a great overclock.
