AMD (Trinity) route or Intel for gaming HTPC?

Dear all,

I am thinking of selling my PS3 (which I rarely use anymore) and my HTPC and build a new gaming HTPC based on Trinity. I will mainly watch HD content, browse the internet and play some split screen games like Resident Evil or sports games with friends. I want the pc to be able to play eg Fifa 13 and Resident Evil in 1080p. Is this possible with A10-5800K?
Adding later another 6670 or even a 7750 will help me? What kind of PSU would I need?

Thank you

I made some initial calculations and the cost is quite high...
If I go the Intel route I need about 400-500E without a discrete VGA (i3-2120) and with the A10-5800K I am about 400E for sure...

Some more questions:

Since gaming in 1080p is something I am interested, I am leaning towards the Intel route with discrete GPU in the future. I have come across the Celeron G530 which seems a great value. Would this CPU and its HD graphics be enough for HD playpack (1080p)?
If I add later a discrete GPU, would I also be able to play games at 1080p?
