Not badBioShock Infinite (3840x2160, Ultra Settings)
Tomb Raider (3840x2160, Normal Preset w/ TressFX On Off)
- AMD Radeon R9 290X "Quiet Mode" average frame rate: 44.25
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 average frame rate: 37.67
- AMD Radeon R9 290X "Quiet Mode" average frame rate: 40.2
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 average frame rate: 34.5
Amazed AMD came up with some pre-emptive PR, it's been long overdue for AMD to throw some dirt back@Nvidia.
One thing I really have to give to both camps.
They've really upped the game on the reference cooler designs. Both Nvidias stunning 780/titan cooler and AMDs new 290 Coolers are SWEET looking.
Considering the AMD card is clocked 100MHZ on the core and higher on the memory "Based on leaked specs" its not that surprising to see an FPS difference although small, If they clocked the 780 to match the AMD card I imagine it would overtake it.
