AMD vs Nvidia: who makes the best graphics £150 card

I run an i7 2600k and an Asus cu core 5770 and am thinking maybe I should look for an upgrade, so as per the title
AMD vs Nvidia: who makes the best graphics £150 card.

Actually if you look around there are 660s at/slightly under £150 but I can't find them from anywhere reputable that I'd feel comfortable doing business with below £160+ :S If you can find a decent model 660 from somewhere reputable tho thats not too bad for £150.

Nvidia's GTX 660 or AMD's 7850 will both do well for ~£150.

They are basically equal with the AMD cards pulling out a slight advantage in the synthetic benchmark tests and the AMD cards do Overclock a bit better too.

Differences between the 2 while gaming are going to be minimal at best.

All about preference, I was a Nvidia fan boy but when I was buying a card for the same price range the only decent option then was the 7850 2gb.

The only other issue I ought to point out is my Power Supply, basically I
Corsair TX 650W ATX SLi Compliant Power Supply, and am not sure how power hungry the new graphics cards are.

The power supply will be more than enough.

Nvidia GTX 650Ti is the best card if you don't do overclocking, 7850 2GB edition if you do.

GTX660 if you are not overclocking and HD7850 2GB if you get one which can overclock well.

The majority of reviews I have read show the 660's speed in between the 7850 and 7870, also there seem to be fewer problems with the 660. Personal choice though.

I just picked up a Nvidia MSI GTX 660 for £151 and I don't regret purchasing it at all.

I know I cannot mention where I purchased it but you can find them:

Go for a 660 at least.
