So on my 780 on my 4K monitor I can go up to 8K res using DSR, I only use it for screenshots.

Now I looked around on how to enable VSR and the option is missing from my CCC, Using 14.12 Omega, Is it because I have a 4K monitor and AMD in their wisdom thought people wouldn't like more options or am I missing something ?

From what I recall 4K VSR is only available on the R9 285 at the moment. 4K VSR support for other cards is supposed to be released with next patch or something.

At this first release only the 285 can go 4k.. A new drivers think releasing this month will add in more resolution for more GPUs. 3200x1800 is max atm on 290.

Yes, as far as I'm aware you don't get vsr option with a 4K screen. I also have the Omega drivers on my 290 and 4K screen and have no option for vsr, but then why would you its not required, you cant beat the real thing! :D

I know it's just fun making gorgeous 8K screenshots :)

I find it kind of poor that Nvidia have this and it's so easily enabled yet AMD are dragging their heals and not just about VSR but a properly implemented shadowplay like software solution that properly works unliked the Raptr soltuion.

Yeah, I think it's poor form to not only be late to the show, but inferior.

Exactly, I like both companies equally but AMD need get their rears in gear, From a feature set perspective and user friendliness perspective Nvidia just have more.

Even when just doing something as simple as overclocking, With AMD your system freezes and you have to do a hard reset if you get a bad clock, With Nvidia the driver restarts and then you're on your merry way again.

The fact they actually talk to their customers at gaming conventions and hold their own conventions, I'm baffled why AMD don't interact more with their customer base.

It's just little touches like that.

/Rant over :p
