The other fact is that we are hearing when keplar comes along it will all change. The fact of the matter is nobody knows when keplar is coming. There are rumours saying this and that but nothing concrete. We had all this with fermi also and it came way late. Keplar might be the same so until it comes along amd rule the high end market end of.

We all hear that supply from tsmc is low, so amd may as well price high until they stop selling, as at a lower price they would sell out. Amd cant really lose atm as there cards are still selling although slower than they would if they were priced lower but they dont have the capacity to keep up with demand most likely.

79xx GPUs are too expensive for your liking, get over it. Nvidia's response (which is all still speculation, smoke and mirrors, vapourware, wood screws, unless I've missed something) might not be the messiah you are hoping for easyrider

If Kepler is better - guess what? It will be more expensive....

It's a free market, there is no moral reasoning here. Neither company has the consumers interests in mind when selling their wares :confused:

Agree its been a discussed many times and there isnt anything we can do about it ...

If some one thinks it is worth the money they will buy it if not they wont ... leave people to make up there own mind if its overpriced
 
Personally i usually have a price in mind of what i want to spend. I then look at whats available and then buy. I dont like these high prices from amd but it is what it is. I am just glad amd kept the prices down for as long as they did as from the 3-6 series amd have brought great value price/performance cards and forced nvidia to do the same. This round has just began so all is not lost. the price wars will start at some point and better value will return.
