AMD with blower cooler

Are there any AMD cards that have a blower style reference cooler that is actually useful and doesn't sound like a jet taking off? If not are they likely to produce one in the future?

I'd like to consider their cards when upgrade time comes, but at the minute it's just not even remote possibility.

As far as I'm aware, no good ones now. If they can produce one on the next series of cards who knows? For all the criticism Nvidia have been getting lately, their reference cards do a good job, especially in SLI. It's a major concern for me, as I am half considering the 290X Crossfire route, but the heat/cooling issue in my case (H440) has me worried.

If you setup a custom curve and you have adequate cooling, the reference cards are really quiet.

Mine under load (80c) is no more than 60% fan speed which is perfectly adequate sound wise. Since I game with my headphones I can't hear it any way.

Mate get your ears checked cause 60% is not "really quiet". In fact it is loud. Really loud.

I set this video to be nearly inaudible at 20% and then let it play. 55% was pretty much unbearable.

Cheers for the video. That firmly rules out the 290x blower cooler for me. Very helpful.
