AMD working on new Never Settle Bundle

I doubt it's HL3, maybe it's to do with 'something cool is coming', AMD is tight lipped about a new car game, whether it's GTAV or not idk, but it's something to do with cars anyway:

Cheap way to get BF4 now though lads-if you have mm access.;):D

Pretty hard to make out what game it might be from those images.

What I paid for mine lol But I was rushed into buying at the time they came out I was putting this build together. Plus I do have a fully unlocked card "voltage"

So you probably correct, and then they will shoot down to the price of 7950 now.

Benchmarks will sell it to me, its only BF4 that has me tiny bit worried I hopping this rig can run all High/Ultra settings like BF3.

I have seen your XFX 7950 for £215, it clearly pays to wait and let things settle.

It does pay but I wanted the PC built and if I would have waited it would have been months. Plus the cards now are voltage locked and dont clock to what I have mine now 1100/1500 mine is unlocked
So I basically have a stock 7970 :)

It's a different one though-no voltage control, no dual bios switch, different vrms, and ultimately less oc'ing headroom.

While it may be cheaper, it's no where near as good as shankly's.

Mines cost £200 at Christmas time, but I sold it on now as it was a pita having to use 2 different oc tools in CrossFire-you can only add extra voltage through Trixx leaving it flat out@1100/1400MHz, I presume shankly's goes a bit faster.

I can go 1.3v and 1700 on Memory think it is. I at 1100/[email protected] now Temps quite good 65c most of the time. So I could easy do 1200/1500 but I see no need for it atm unless bench-marking witch I dont do for bragging rights lol

All good points, but you might be able to flash a boost bios with higher voltage. Certainly doesn't beat full voltage control, but does make the higher cost seem a lot less attractive.

We all knew the cards were vastly overpriced initially, certainly not worth the price as the performance wasn't that much better than the previous generation until the 12.7 catalyst drivers, by that time we had competing cards and much better prices.

Yes, I thought yours would go faster.

Don't get me wrong, the version I had although it can't hit the dizzying heights, it's way cheaper than all the rest.

If I wasn't a 3D user it would have sufficed, and I wouldn't need CrossFire as a single 7950's a fantastic performer for the money@1080p.

Your probably better off at the clocks you use as the closer to max you get, gameplay can be more erratic anyway-higher max, but lower mins.:)

Also, if he paid £350 for the 7950 at initial launch then I don't see how he could reasonably expect the 8950 to cost £200 at launch? One would assume he meant expected prices once the initial premium was removed, other than that it makes absolutely no sense.

7950s can regularly be bought for £220 and even below.
Decent ones still goes for £240+ on average...

XFX 7950 can be had for around no competitor price hinting. Thank you.yes...but with their after sales service (or the lack of it) considered...no...just no.

And you are forgetting the current price is not the "launch price", which was ridiculously, insanely high.

I'm really liking how far AMD have come in the last year or so and these game bundles are a great idea.
I wanted to get a Titan but with these maybe coming with a 7990 it's gonna be a hard choice.

I'm not forgetting anything, I'm probably one of the only people making the distinction between initial and settled prices.

Anyway, good night. ;)

These bundles are a good idea in my opinion. But I just hope they sort out actually getting the codes to people a bit prompter. I'm still waiting for my Crysis 3 code! I have Emailed them about it but doubt if I will get a reply for a while (it being Easter weekend). Got the Bioshock Infinite one straight away, so a little confused as to why the delay with the Crysis 3 one.
