AMD X2 4400 1MB l2cache x2 - resetting machine ???

i have a quick question for those getting reboots in WoW....

Have you all cleared out your interface folder. and started fresh with brand new UI's for 1.9 patch. I personally havent yet. But i will tonight just to see if its the addons.

tried everything - RMA chip back - waiting for test by OCUK techies. second core was reported as 3.5v ?? 1.4 on first. strange goings on in sound & video had to turn off sound and video acceleration and write caching to stop reboots. This chip was faulty imo. WOW - changed all UI's no addons still rebooted - then RMA.

hmm well my CPU has been going fine for about a year no problems. same with my gfx card. im gonna try trashing my UIs and starting from a clean slate......

HOWEVER when i initially installed my CPU with the XP120 monster heatsink... i did manage to rip out the CPU without lifting the bracket... so the pins where all bent. i straightened the pins and put it back in (took 3 hours with a magnifying glass and a paper clip) But i dont think that should be affecting it... ill try it in other games too but i usually only play wow.

World of Warcraft: Rotating or zooming within the Blackwing Lair or Seering George level of the game no longer results in a VPR Recover occurring after approximately a few minutes of game play. Further details on this resolved issue can be found in topic number 737-21265

I was getting VPR recover a lot even in battlegrounds.
