AMD X2 overclock problem, HELP

Well first off i have an AMD X2 3800+ 939 on a gigabyte GA-K8N Pro sli mobo with 2gb of corsair Ri ahve set K8 cpu frequency to auto and HT frequency to auto as well. Now for some reason it wont boot on a frequency higher than 210Mhz. I upped the voltage to 1.400 but still nothing. Can someone plz help

How did you adjust the FSB to 210 when the CPU frequency is set to auto??

Setting the HT speed to auto won't help either. Try set the HT multiplyer to 3* (600Mhz), also set your RAM divider to 5:4 (320Mhz) or 3:2 (266Mhz) to make sure your RAM is not limiting the OC.

Leave the Vcore to 1.4V for now.

what shall i change the HT frequency to. I dont have the option of memory divider

If the mobo is anything like my old GA-K8N (non SLI) then I wouldn't be surprised if you have problems. The way I got round things was setting things in bios like HTT, volts etc, but only upping the CPU speed in Windows 5mhz at a time, any more and it would crash.

rite set the K8 ratio to 10 and the HT multiplier to 3 and it still wont boot past 210Mhz. So i used gigabytes easy tune 5 and changed the cpu frequency to 220mhz 2mins later the whole thing crashes. My CPU just doesnt like 220Mhz or above
