I use ConvertXtoDVD to convert my avi's onto dvd. Used to use it with my [email protected] and got about 80ish fps conversion speed. Doing it with C2D E6400 @ 340x8 (2.7) with ram at DDR900 on 5-5-5-15 timings and only getting 55fps!! thats err.. rubbish?!
Even my single core 4000+ @3.1 manages high 60's to 70's in the FPS!
Could it be that the program just wasn't meant for the C2D chips? i know it's only using one core but still, it was only using 1 with amd too.
In all other benchmarks the E6400 slay's my old X2, so it is running right.
Anyone know of a good program to convert avi/xvid to dvd in one click like ConvertX does? that also uses both cores?
