AMD x470, B450 motherboard on zen2

I've been looking at a Ryzen 3000 and want the x470 Asus Strix x470-I gaming, but B450-I is more available in stock. Both of these have bios updates for zen2 chips right? Should I go for the cheaper b450? Looking at a 3700x or 3800x.

If you want a ITX motherboard then go for the ASUS ROG STRIX B450-I GAMING £158.99, Same board as x470-i just a different number & cheaper.
As CPU fan header & also 2 x Case fan headers, True 6 + 2 Phase also,
You will need to update the bios that's out to support 3000 series

I was thinking of getting the AMD Athlon 200GE to just update the bios. That a apu right? I've seen it for £34

Yep with built in Vega 3 Graphics,
I am sticking with my Ryzen 7 1700, OC to 3700ghz, Can do 3900Ghz but not worth it for such a small gain & a lot of heat/watts
So my 1700 is near performance as the 2700x & can be had for a £130 new on the www
OCUK don't sale the ryzen 7 1700 version anymore only the X version

I have a 8700k and bought it since released, but intel 8th gen is a dead platform. Not really wanting 9700k, Never bought AMD before and thought this would be a great time to not only go to AMD with a better future then Intel, but also go smaller to itx.

If you're happy with 1700 then stay where you are. I want to play with something a little different and have been wanting to go ITX. I should get at least half of the build money back from selling my 8700k cpu and mobo.

How far are you getting a ITX Case ?

Really like the Raijintek Ophion Evo. Then I can do a 240 AIO on top? Or might just go air cooled and get the Raijintek Ophion. Can't decided which one? The only thing is I would need a very quiet low profile air cooler. Isn't noctua bring out a new low profile air cooler but in black. Need to look into it quickly before new cpu's come
