AMD X6 Bundle Or Intel I5 Bundle?

About time to upgrade from this X2 5600+ to something a little better i think, so which one should it be?

Been looking at:

Mostly gaming on this machine, Gtx280 (May sell on the bay and grab something that draws less power for the same price)

The i5 will be much faster for games.

As they stand I'd say i5, but I'll be the first to get it in, if you can, wait n see what SB has to offer on 9th Jan

I'd be all for waiting, but the motherboard on my old PC is fried and i'm getting bored of using my Nokia as a PC

Think i might just take the plunge and go for I5 then, i've been putting the upgrading off for about a year now so i suppose its about time
