AMD Zen 5 rumours

Assumed so, but my maths wasn't working that out to be a round multiplier &/or not expected speed.

But my maths might just be plain wrong :D

I may have got it wrong but I worked it out as the following:

Id assume around ~5400 Mhz (PBO) x 1.0175 (94.5 Mhz) +200Mhz (fmax boost), which is used ~320 as an estimated figure

I know with my 7800X, it had a max boost of 5GHz then you had CO on top. However, I used to run it at 5000 Mhz + 1.05 BLCK which would give you 5250 MHz and then run CO on top.

Sweet. Nice little birthday treat for me. :) 7600 > 9800X3D. Should be a hoot!

Will be picking up one but struggling to decide on a board, especially when gigabyte is throwing around big performance claims. It’s between the Strix and Aorus Master for me

I’m sure all board manufacturers will have their own version of what gigabyte claim to be offering…
What big performance claims?

Performance wise, they all seem much of a muchness (as expected)

Can 99.99% gaurantee it's all BS and the performance will be within margin of error to any other board

Oh yea, no doubt but with the current pricing of x870e boards and one manufacturer stipulating a 35% gain it does make you want to wait and see as ridiculous as it sounds.
It's a feature coming to all AM5 motherboards including the 6xx boards. It'll be implemented in a new AGESA version coming soon.
