Hello

Im looking at buying a new build and im looking at getting a Ryzen 1600x, most of the coolers on the website dont state AMD4 apart from Noctua which are massive and expensive as available? does anyone know any coolers on the website that are AMD4 compatible but just not been updated

Thank in advance

I have a ryzen 1600x with the Cryorig h7 quad lumi which I highly recommend

You can get a cheaper version without the lights.

Allot of the manufacturers do AM4 kits you can get for peanuts, I had to get one from coolermaster for the master liquid pro I had previously. Think it cost me £1.50.

Scythe Mugen 5 would be likely the most effective cooler without any issues in memory clearance or PCI-e slot use.

And is very affordably priced. (Scythe is one of no PR hype brands)

OcUK just does't have Rev B (5100 in model number) with AM4 compatible mounting kit, unless actual product is Rev B and page hasn't been updated.

But for proof of purchase of cooler and AM4 mobo or Ryzen CPU Scythe would send mounting part for free:

While not available in OcUK I think most Thermalrights should be compatible.
They even made Ryzen colour themed one if you're not bothered about uppermost PCI-e slot clearance of 140mm fanned heatsinks.
