Amd64 4000+ Or Dual Core??

yo guys im about to build a new rig within the next 2 weeks and i was just wondering what is the best cpu to go for the amd64.4000+ or the 4200+ dual core? its mostly gonna be used for games more than anything else,also what gfx card would you go for the 7800 or the x1900??

cheers guys, so will the 3800 have the same sort of performance as the 4200 if its overclocked ? im new to all this overclocking lol but yeah money is no object..also people have told me that not all programs and games will run on dual core??

yeah thanks for the advice i think im gonna go wiv the 4400,as much as id love the fx60 aint quite got that much to splash out wish i did, what would be the best mobo to go for i heard the Abit Fatal1ty is one of the best around?
