Hmmm... it seems we have AMD's latest edition of the Athlon XP-M here.

For what is essentially a Turion X2 with a slightly higher TDW and dirt cheap, it is apparently the overclocking panacea for those with AM2 boards.

I'm interested in it solely for the lower power and good prices that these will probably go for, so long as AMD don't think they can start charging a premium for a name change and a slightly lower vcore. 45 watt TDP is promising anyway.

yes from my understanding of the article. Theyre just cherry picked standard 65nm am2's or the not quite 35W sff energy efficient ones.

Apparently, they should be dirt cheap, too... but I'm not sure what that means for prices in this country.

However, I'm confident that OcUK can pull it out the bag if they try.

FAO Gibbo: why have you guys stopped stocking mobile CPUs? Is it because they don't sell well or something? Shame, because they're the only CPUs I'm actually interested in and I wind up looking elsewhere.
