So I recently won a little competition held in this thread.
So i ended up winning :
AMD A10 5800K
Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4
Zalman CNPS14X Cooler
Thanks again for picking me !
I decided to get a few other bits at the same time!
Corsair HX 650W ATX Modular
Kingston HyperX 3K SSD 120GB
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB
Gigabyte M6900 3200DPI Gaming Mouse (while I rma my g500)
Silverstone USB3.0 I/O Port Adapter Panel for Silverstone Cases
Corsair Flash Voyager 8GB USB3.0
HOLY MOTHER OF BOXS! Haribo for scale.
Why it so big for a Mobo, Cpu & cooler!
So thats why! NERD GASAM!
So whats all this inside the massive box!
AMD FLASK thing with straw!
AMD POST IT NOTES!!!!!!!! worth more than anything else
AMD NAPPY?
NO NO wrinkliest T-shirt in human history!
OHH & of coarse Haribo x 3
These taste funny!
This was the stock heatsink inside this massive bundle, unlike other ones I've seen on reviews comes with as die-angle heat pipe so not sure what the retail units ship with
The Motherboard itself, ohh pretty! & look the chip has even been mounted for me yeah laziness!
The zalman CNPS14X Cooler with a ton of thermal gunk!
Ps whoever packed this forgot the loading block & the stock amd backplate (luckily had a compatible one form another cooler !)
My old bits;
Cpu: AMD x3 720BE
Cooler: Scythe Mugen II with noctura p12
Mobo: GA-MA78G-DS3H
Ram: 4gb corsair DDR2 800mghz
GFX: 4850 with arctic cooling twin turbo.
PSU: Thermaltake 430w
Case Silverstone Fortress FT01
Yes I did have the shell of a Porsche with the engine of a transit van
Getto cable management! damn non modular psu's!
Old psu stats, so how bad was it? lucky to get 5 years outa it?
So new bits droped in..
Think i need some cable management
Getting the 8pin connector in was about as stabbing my self in eye ball with a spork!
Gave up & took rear fan & grill off to make easier
Some time & swearing later
& lastly USB.3 fortress now
Benchmarks & other bits to follow soon TM!
