is it me or are they bad losers? Or just can't take gettin owned or something? Three or four times now I've had an american gamer quit on me in nba 2k7 when I'm like 10 points ahead. If you don't know, that can be brought back quite easily with some good play in basketball.

I remember reading here another member was annoyed over americans quitting in tiger woods. Ah well, rant over.
 
One of the reason I like TDU late night style, can wind them up well easily, one even went ahead and called me a British bar steward. :rolleyes:

However, the whiny 13 year olds with balls on their head really do get quite annoying with their "I've got the quickest car in the game..."
 
Funniest one for me was on NHL. He paused the game. The game timer counts down from 2mins 30 secs. After that the other player has the choice to quit and take the win or disconnect.

Naturally I take the win as I'm up anyway.

I then got my inbox spammed with 'Fag' messages.

He tells me he was on the phone.

Like I'm supposed to keep sitting there while he has a chat :rolleyes:

I told him I couldnt wait all night while he chatted to his boyfriend on the phone.

He then left me negative feedback :D
 
I Used to hate them on halo 2, you can gurantee there is going to some 10 year old with a squeeky voice who trys to verbally abuse everyone :rolleyes:
 
Not just bad losers. They're not particularly good winners either.

My first online game on XBLA SFII Hyper fighting was against an American dude. Could hear him mumbling all through the match, which went to 3 rounds in the end. Ultimately he won (what can I say? I was rusty), and started shouting "WHAT. A. WIN! WHAT. A. WIN! YES. YES. WHAT A WIN! You better give up now buddy 'coz you aint never gonna win online."

I was half expecting him to start chanting 'U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A!'. :p
 
Most of my xbl time was spent on PGR2 and i've never raced with an American that wouldn't dive under you on a corner even though it meant slamming you into a wall.

They have no respect for racing etiquette and will try and win at any cost.

I can't stand them.
 
On perfect dark, GOW and every other game, I have had the opposite. I find the UK/euro gamers to be more rude and annoying.

On GOW I want on a chain saw rampage, taking out all 4 of the other team with a chainsaw, and all they were doing is laughing and say "wow dude, you pwned". Really good fun, I then went on a UK server, and straight off regreted leaving the one with all the US guys.

Maybe I have just been lucky, but a couple of my friends with a 360 have said that both are about even to play... we are obviously from the UK.

Dutch gamers 4tw tbh, they're a great laugh, also met an Italian guy who was fairly nice.

But yea, you also get idiots from the UK.
 
The Dutch are the greatest people to play against online.... they're usually stoned so don't get all agressive or narked off at you and calling you a cheat, etc... like the Yanks always do.

Plus they've got the greatest accent... "Sho, you shure know how to play. I got pwned, yesh? I live in Amshterdam. Do you want to get high?"
 
Oh, gawd... don't get me started about the French. I love 'em normally, but will never play online against 'em. Bunch of annoying, whining little turds that they are. Nearly as bad as the Yanks, but easily the worst Europeans to play against.

Luckily I'm fluent in French so I can insult them in their own language about being cheese-eating surrender monkeys :D
