Hi, I have a problem with the training in this game on the range where you can try out the under barrel grenade launcher, the M249 and the hand grenades. My problem is this, I pass all 3 ranges with "Expert" rating, I go to speak to the drill instructor who finalises your scores and everytime I do that he's telling me I've failed the grenade range and that I'm a "no go".

I get a green tick next to the grenade launcher and the SAW training segments, but on the hand grenade segment I get a red cross.

How can this be though when on the same screen it's telling me that I have got a 100% hit ratio and 6 out of 6 targets killed? :confused: This is a really annoying problem because I can't progress with the traning until it lets me pass this one. By the way, the game is fully patched. Any help would be appreciated :)
 
It's just one of the many remaining bugs, many people find that it will update a day later with the correct results you actually obtained.

As said you don't need to even attempt training at the moment, however I would largely recommend completing all of basic training, even if it doesn't save, especially combat life saving. It's important knowledge to have in the game.

Training is fail, fail, fail. But as Lyon says, it's worth doing anyway because this is a very complicated game. There are a lot of skills to learn.
 
Okie dokie :) if it's a known issue then I'll just steer clear of it for a couple of days and then maybe my stats will have been updated. Thanks for the info peeps :)
 
Seems as though you can tell it's free by the quality of the game. Many issues with it at present. :( Although having said that I could go and slap somebody in the face with the Yellow Pages for free... Doesn't mean it will be a pleasant experience though, What happened to "the best things in life" and all that? :p
