Not had either of those cars but did go from an E63S to an M5 Comp so presume the costs will be roughly similar. The main difference with servicing is Mercedes is yearly/mileage based (£600 to £900) whereas BMW is condition based so the Mercedes could work out more expensive on servicing.
Warranty on the Mercedes is based on the engine so a c63 is about £1300 a year, no idea on the M4 being a 6 pot. Fuel wise the M4 will no doubt be better. My long term average in the E63S was about 18mpg. Even my M5 Comp is 21.5mpg which I was quite impressed with considering it’s a 4.4l
No idea on parts costs as both cars were/are under warranty.
