Just read about this chap this morning. It's really rather crazy. Just watched the full video of a french man receiving in total 69k euros. which i think we can all agree is rather a lot of money. I'm guessing he just likes the reaction as he alludes to it in my rather broken french. if you youtube amhai the full video should pop up, its 14 mins. contains a bit of french swearing and the odd f bomb. but it really is rather cool. some expensive social experiement

I just hope they don't give any money to kittyplaysgames

Just checked her channel and her biggest single donation has been $7000 with a vast amount of $500+ ones. The top girl streamers get ridiculous amounts every day from the thirsty neckbeards.

The only decent looking one (IMO) is Alinity, but even then I don't see why people would gift them thousands upon thousands of dollars.

Yeah sure, donate once in a while if you like their stream and want to support them, which I've done with 2 I think; Witwix and Broman, but I'd never bloody donate hundreds let alone thousands to someone I don't know, especially just because they're a female.

Yah I've watched twitch a few times, mostly Lirik but not anymore. I can sort of see the appeal but as far as handing over some kid 10 grand?

Fair play to these semi-attractive women broadcasting on twitch though, if there are desperate idiots out there trying to white knight and are willing to pay to watch a woman play games, why shouldn't they take advantage?

I think people who do have issues, not to be cruel but it's generally because in their mind they think somehow donating money to some girl who has never met them will mean she will treat them favourably or **** them. Who knows I've never been that desperate even when I was a clueless 17 year old in a club trying to get "lucky". I guess it's like guys who buy girls drinks hoping to gain their approval. Except with more money.

It's just plain weird. I cringe at guys who do the same with drinks. It's all a similar phenomenon at work here.

Edit: if you ever read a female streamers chat you'll see what I mean, the level of supplication is scary.
