Amiga 1200 - Monitor, TV or LCD? Poor Image

Hi all,

Recently got the A1200 back out and hooked it up to a 1080p Sony LCD I’ve got via an RGB scart cable and the picture looked pretty bad…”warbly” is the best way I can describe it

Turning off most of the post processing features seemed to help a little bit but it still wasn’t great…

What is everyone else doing or what would you recommend as the best option? Should I track down an Amiga monitor? A CRT TV? Or am I just doing something daft?

Thanks all, I wasn’t aware of that 15khz requirement so I think I’ll just track down a CRT for it…will certainly be more authentic that way

I’ve dug out my old Viewsonic VP191b & ordered an RGB - VGA adapter…will tune that a try before I track down a CRR (though I probably still will anyway…)

The adapter arrived today so I’ll have a play with that later but I’ve managed to track down a Sony Trinitron CRT that I’m hoping to collect tomorrow evening as I think that will be the best option for me

I’m now the proud owner of a Sony 16” KV-16WT1

I can’t possibly have been this bad at Wing Commander when I was a kid but still great fun
