Hello there,
Recently I've been getting the following error with my computer:
Actually, my computer has been playing up a lot recently, it randomly crashes with my other hard drive (in sig), so I swapped the hard drives with an old IDE Samsung. Now it runs, and hasn't crashed as of yet, however when I try to format my SATA hard drive the setup crashes in the very early stages (blue screen, in DOS). Anyways, I have no idea what's going on.
I've upgraded the Award BIOS, and I like I said, it doesn't crash since I put this hard drive in, but I do want to put my WD Sata back in sometime, as this one is very slow at handling data.
I read somewhere that if you bend the sata cables a lot, it can effect the performance (I actually folded the wire a few times to make space for other things in the case), so I'm buying a new cable tomorrow and will try to format it again, I hope that is the problem.
I can't think of anything else I can do?
Any help would be greatly apreciated
Recently I've been getting the following error with my computer:
AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal IO port address (0x21), which lies in the 0x20 - 0x21 protected address range. This could lead to system instability. Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance.
