Yeah, his personality and openness doesn't bother me at all. I am far more bothered by the way we play, the lack of improvement and the results.

If anything, his personality is what's keeping him in a job. I think most people like him and sympathise with him, but people are wavering a bit now...

The bigger concern in the short term is the keeper.

We could concede from every corner.

So is this the new "all things United thread".

If so. Antony on his way out. Garnacho apparently agreed. Hojlund on his way out. Sounds like these 3 will bring in about £80-90m. Sancho won't go anywhere IMO.

In other tangential news, Ole has been sacked from Besiktas.

Rather interestingly, they've got Amorim's press conference comments on the front page of both BBC and Sky News.

Shows you the level of interest/scrutiny.

Mourinho manager and Ole assistant. What could go wrong!

Obviously only the most inflammatory bit. The full quote gives plenty of context but the BBC have gone for "Sometimes I hate my players, sometimes I want to quit".

Its like hovis best of both. A tactically good manager with the vibes manager. Surely thats a winning combo.

Mourinho also sacked by Fenerbache! They are lining up!
Good news on the outgoings. there was a plausible scenario that we were left with 2/3 of the bomb squad. Mainoo apparently has r-iterated his desire to go on loan after the club refused and Amorim said he want's him to stay and fight for his place. The lad needs to knuckle down and remember he's got a lot to learn.

Looks like Anthony deal has fallen thru....

Sancho is just an embarrassment at this stage, to himself as well as the club. Yes he might well be raking in £300k a week but have some pride and passion to want to do something with your talents etc.

For all the stick Goldbridge gets, minutes 1-7 of this are hard to argue agaist (and more sensible than a few posters on here), it's a match review but the start is about the state of the club and Amorim etc

Quite a lot to digest there, but:

Owners = really bad
Sporting directors = bad
Manager = jury out but not great so far
Players = not good enough and won't finish above 8th without a new midfield and goalkeeper

I can agree with most of that.

No it's not. The Utd thread was locked because people were persistently ignoring the rules in it. I'll reopen it after the transfer window is closed but this thread is for discussion around the manager's future.
