Jotunheim treble is too lively for the HD800 or K701, the Lyr 3 with a decent tube (the stock Tung Sol is decent) will round the edges off slightly.
Audio GD are decent but their purchasing is weird, you have to email them back and forth to sort out what you want to buy and then if anything goes wrong it has to go back to China at your expense
Or use one of their European distributors to avoid the hassle + customs charge - https://www.magnahifi.com/en/webshop/category/audio-gd
seen a deal for a used bifrost multibit at 350 pound, would that be good?
That would just be a DAC, you would still need an amp. The Audio GD R2R 11 mentioned above is only 380 euro brand new and that covers both DAC and amp
Good call, I keep forgetting about Magnahifi - That R2R 11 multibit DAC/Amp does look good
