Have been on the verge of ordering either a Schiit Jotunheim or Drop THX AAA 789 from the US recently.

Anyone had any experience of these? I've seen some mixed reviews of the Jot. People either love it or hate it but the THX seem universally liked.

Currently have Sen 650's but looking to branch out.

The Jotunheim is a great amp had one for about 12 weeks a couple of years ago which sadly broke and returned it (I just got unlucky) but the quality was exceptional. I didn't want to wait for it to be repaired so ended up getting a refund and buying a Myryad z40 with an smsl su-8 (a fantastic dac) and the quality is comparable through dt1990s but lacks XLR and no were near as powerful. I would recommend the Jotunheim I just got unlucky. If they had a UK disto at the time I would have got a new one without a hesitation!

They now have a uk distributor by the way which means you don't have to pay hefty import and get the amp much faster have some decent "B grade" deals atm on the Jotunheim. https://www.schiit.co.uk
