I've never really set up a seperates system before, but now as I have a lot of consoles/tv/pc to plug into an audio system it's about time i got myself an amp to output them all to the same speakers, got myself some speakers sorted, but not sure what kind/spec amp I should be going for, all this talk of ohms and watts and frequency range is kind of confusing.

I don't want to buy an amp and have it power my speakers really poorly (or not at all?)

Speakers i grabbed are some Tannoy MX3s, any tips on what wattage would be too low/too high, and ohmage etc?

Sorry for being a complete noob about all of this :)

get a AV amp for about £80. it'll have about 3 or 4, 2 channel inputs and 1, 5.1 input. it'll have 5.1 output but u don't need to have 5.1 speakers, u can connect 2 or 4 speakers to it.
