Amp/Sub - fitting kit?

Hi folks,
Well, i've just bought a Fli Trap 12" Active Sub (http://www.fliaudio.co.uk/) from an auction for £63. Its my first sub, so I'm not too clued up about what I need. I need a fitting kit it seems - they seem have to have different wattage ratings. How important is this, which figure do I pay attention to (i.e. the sub/amp is 300W RMS, or 1000W peak), and can anyone recommend a particular kit? I've spotted this one:

Would that be ok for me?

Thanks for the replies, especially to you xcessive for the details post. I'll let you know how I get on

By the way, its a 2000 X reg Renault Megane Coupe (phase 2). I believe there is a grommet under the glovebox from other people have said.
