I currently have 3 x 2.1 systems attached to my Audigy 2 sound card (using splitters), and the volume is reduced quite significantly.
The other day, I plugged one of my friends speakers (which has a direct connection to mains) into my computer, and then plugged all my speakers into its headphones socket... the volume was much louder - I assume it acted like an amp.
Can anyone suggest anything similar I can buy to make my system better?
