Amped front components

Hi all,

Thinking of upgrading my fronts with some INFINITY 16cm Reference 6010cs.

Would they need to be amped? Or will they be ok off the headunit? I've been told they will sound rubbish without their own amp...

Amping the front speakers is probably the best upgrade I ever done on a car audio.
I did several cars with just changing out the fronts and running them off the head units and then an amp/sub in the boots.
The last car I did the fronts and it made the world of difference

Hmm, thinking I might end up going down this route then.

Time to get someone to install it, I have no idea how to wire it all up. Could do it fairly easy, but having never wired up a car I don't fancy it!!!
