Amstrad 280* discs to PC

I have several floppy discs from a standard generic Amstrad 280* system of the 80's. I have need of the data on the discs and wonder if anyone has a suggestion of how I would go about transfering the data and making use of it on a PC.

I fear the only way you'll manage this is to obtain an Amstrad.

Even if you had a low density floppy drive, I'm pretty sure the file system is unreadable by an IBM/PC clone, regardless of OS.
