Amsys ACMT Repair

My iMac has had issues and Apple care have arranged Amsys to collect it and repair it.

On the web I have heard nothing but terrible things about them. Has anyone ever had them carry out repairs on their products? and if so how did it go?

I did my apple training with them.. I think.. I have never had a repair from them but like anywhere else, people only tend to speak about stuff like that when it goes wrong, no one ever post a public thank you when it goes right.

I had a iMac board replaced and they were fantastic. On time, cheap and well worth it.

My iMac came back, littered with scratches, polystyrene foam and dust littered behind the glass panel one over 0.5inch wide. Looks like they could do with some vision express vouchers for christmas. In fact looks like an Alsatian did the repair. Now to wait for Applecare support to open..

Used them a few times for imac repairs at my old job. No problems
