Ok, just searched through the first 5 pages and couldn't find a thread about her... and with the search function disabled I really can't be pumped to search through every page.

Anyywwwaaayyyyy... I got my hands on Back To Black the other day and wow... I can't believe how flippin good it is! I saw her on Buzzcocks a while back and kind of wrote her off as a a complete inebriated muppet (which she is, admittedly) but good god when she sings... it's like the heavens open.

One of the best albums i've EVER heard... and as someone who grew up on Oasis, Seahorses, Verve and too many others to list (of differing varieties, not just indie despite what I listed) that is a major compliment from me.

Simply fantastic. :)

She's great, amazing voice and I love seeing an ordinary girl in the industry. I'd rather have more of her than more girls aloud etc.

And to be honest, I bet she's got a hot dirty side ;)

She probably takes it more ways than is actually physically possible... and I bet her mouth turns the air bluer than this forum. But to be honest... i'd probably just rather hear her sing. :D

You are quite welcome to her as far as I am concerned, just make sure she has enough time to sing. ;) Actually one of my mates was thinking about starting the "We admit she is no looker but by god can she sing" fan club. :D

Back to Black is certainly good but I think I prefer Frank as an album, overall the tunes seem that little bit stronger. :)

Don't make me laugh. She's a spoiled litle jewess who attended the Sylvia Young Stage school (The place that spawned Emma Bunton, All Saints, and Denise Van Outen etc etc)

Ordinary girl my ringpiece.

In that case she must hide it well...

Sorry but if you don't think Amy is a talented singer, whether you like her music or not, then I would say you simply have trouble recognising talent. You can give me the "it's all down to opinion" nonsense all you like, but she has a stunning voice, and this is backed up by the harshest critics in the industry. I don't like the songs and styles of many artists, but I always give credit where credit it due.
