Think we should bump again
A FAQ for the free to play stuff Order if you're interested
Would GameSaveManager help with the saved games when replacing the OS drive?
Or do i have to manually copy the saves over to the new OS drive?
As a few are in the Documents and appdata folders.
Yes, it's pretty much it's intended purpose.
When you run it, you can create a backup file containing all of your saves (or just the ones you want). Provided the saves are in the correct place, and the games are supported, GSM will do all of the searching and copying them for you.
Then once you've reinstalled your machine and all the games, you can restore that backup file.
Is there any way to manually download multiple Steam games at once or can this only be done at the moment you purchase a group of games?
I know you can download them simultaneously by manually going through each one and clicking install but that's a bit of a pain in the bum.
I didn't think so, thanks anyway.
If Steam are to insist on these brilliant, biannual sales they should at least make organising and dealing with stupidly large libraries easier.
Say I want to use my laptop instead of my main PC to download games overnight in order to save some juice, what folders do I move where to transfer the game to the main PC? I guess this is sort of like the second item in the FAQ but I am not wanting to move the entire Steam folder, just individual games and presumably their install data/cache files?
You absolute noob, just use the ingame backup function to make a backup set on the laptop, copy the files over the network and restore on the main pc

Sorry if this has been asked before but will Game Save Manager allow me to install a couple of my Steam games onto a SSD and the rest on to a physical drive?
