Hi

Im with 3 with free data roaming. I'm in Ibiza at the moment. There are 2 network available.

Movistar and Yoigo

My phone uses movistar as default and it's rubbish.4 out of 5 times internet doesn't work. Yoigo is working perfectly.

But the problem is oftenly my phone jump to movistar when there is Yoigo coverage . Also phone select movistar when boot up

Is there an app that to use Yoigo as default?

Cheers

Press and hold on 'movistar' in the WiFi settings and choose 'Forget network'. WARNING, if you need to connect to that network again you'll need to know the password.

I'm pretty sure he's on about the network he's roaming on, not wifi.

@wesley what phone do you have? For Android have you tried going to Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Network operators, set the search mode to manual and selected Yoigo?

That's what I do but still jumping to movistar.

When I was in north Corfu in may. My phone jump to Albania mobile network without me realise. Got bill for £79 for roaming charge.

3 don't care, said it's my responsibility to ensure my phone is connecting to local roaming!

See the second option, "choose automatically"? That's where you can change to manually force a network.

In that mode, if you leave the coverage of Yoigo and are in an area where Movistar does still have coverage, you'll show "no service", so bear that in mind if the screen is showing no service.
