Looking to get an Antec Kuhler H20 CPU water cooler for my e6600 on my 2nd pc as noticed when son was playing BF3 that coretemp was showing 70degrees.

Currently using an artic 7 pro and overclocked from 2.4 to 3ghz.

What sort of fan and fittings would I need for the radiator as have read people say it helps to have one.

Advice appreciated!

that cooler is a bit overkill for that chip.

reseat the freezer pro that should be enough for that chip.

Yes did consider that and was considering it but thought Id have a look at other options.

Ill probably try reseating but if Im going through that hassle Im tempted to just pull it off and replace with something better.

However it is just a 2nd PC that the kids use so not sure much point in spending money on it.

How much are the coolers. On my phone so its a pain to check. But for the price you could just get a better cpu.

£43, although If I bought a better CPU Id still then have to buy a cooler.

The CPU is ok at moment, its overclocked to 3ghz which is fine as my main PC is an i7 machine which is what I use generally.

The 2nd PC is generally used for non-gaming, although my kdis have been playing BF3 recently with me hence Im looking at cooling it better.
