OK, OCUK, please help me...

For some reason I sweat a fair bit under-arm and my light-blue work shirt picks up and it looks quite off putting. It doesn't smell though...is there anything you can suggest other than putting on a t-shirt underneath to 'soak it up'?

:(:(:(

In all seriousness, I think a lot of people have experienced this problem at some point, including myself. My solution has been to buy a load of white tees (from M&S of course) to wear underneath.

Driclor but its stings like an absolute ***** if you have any weaknesses in your skin. Works really well I have found but even if you get a little carried away drying your armpits before hand it will hurt.

If deodorant doesn't work, then you'll have to put a small t-shirt on underneath.

It's what I do when wearing really nice/expensive clothing.

How can it not smell?

Smelly bugger.

Fresh sweat doesn't smell particularly.

OP, try wearing a thin t-shirt underneath, the problem with light coloured shirts is that being so thin it is very obvious, you probably aren't even searing that much.

Thank you. 2 helpful replies. I will be going George on Saturday to grab a few blue t-shirts (my uniform shirt is blue)...I shall also grab that Driclor tomorrow as my shop is next door to a huge Boots store...

It might be best to speak to a doctor. They'll no doubt be able to make some suggestions.

For example I believe that in some cases underarm botox injections can be used to stop sweating.

Some people just sweat more than others. That's life and there isn't a huge amount you can do about it. In theory an anti-perspirant (sp?) should be better than a deodorant for you.

Driclor, or a borderline identical product called Anhydrol Forte. I was very sceptical. I tried it. I am no longer sceptical. I use Anhydrol Forte once or twice a week now (and have done for over a year) and my armpits just don't get sweaty. It's brilliant, really.
