Well a boring starter, think I have posted this here before

a mixed tomato salad (olive oil/red wine vinegar/basil and dill dressing) with seared scallops and crispy chilli/lemon/herb crispy breadcrumbs

followed by Beef Wellington made with a duxelle of chestnut/s hitake/oyster mushroons and morelles, 21 day dry aged filet, served with gratin dauphinoise/carrots and a red wine jus (looks silver in pic for some odd reason)

finished off by the big challenge, chocolate souffle, totally from scratch, made own creme pattisierre, ganache etc

was really chuffed as they are supposed to be hard to make, very light with moist centre

and the eventful bit, a trip to A+E mid prep ( yes I know I wasn't going to die but the missus made me go :p )

Holy crap, how deep was the cut?

How's the finger, and how many stitches did you get?

Hope you're alright! And your meal looks bloody amazing, well worth the injury!

5 disolvable stiches :( , that happned at start of prep but got back for 7.30 and completed the cooking :D

I done the exact same thing to my finger 3 weeks ago but being more of a man than Rotty I didn't go to A&E, not until 4 days later when it was too late to stitch anyway. 3 weeks on, my finger still looks the same as it did the day I cut it and I've got no feeling on the tip of my finger :(

oops, not sure how mine will turn out, got to keep it covered for a week
