An evening walking in Liverpool

Twas a sunny day for a change, so I grabbed my kit and went for a wander in Liverpool. I had a couple of shots in mind that I'd been wanting to do since I got my 10-20. Annoyingly because its so wide I kept getting flair, so I had to think and thankfully thinking gave me better shots

It was nice to just wander around and spot things.

I think every shot was taken with a tripod. I like to use f/22 a lot for the star effect with lights. Its nicer than just a blob of haze

Occasionally you can but last night it was fine. It was only 6ish, not really late and the middle of the week.

Oh yeah you really do have to just get out there. Sure standing around with my camera, as everyone in rush hour traffic in cars and buses watched me, was a bit odd but once I started seeing the images on the display I was in the zone.

I did use the lens hood just to be safe. That is also my room, kinda odd

I used a polarizer to help block the light so I could leave the shutter open for longer, about 60 seconds. That way I could capture more car lights.
