An expensive week for gamers ?

Well this has probably been the most expensive week, game related, in my entire life. That said, it is probably the most exciting too. With 4 games purchased including, Far Cry 2, Dead Space, Red Alert 3 and Fallout 3.

Who else has bought all 4 ?
 
I like owning the game, nothing beats having the case on your shelf. Hassle free patches and online gaming. Althought your probably right, the majority have probably downloaded.
 
None for me (yet). Bought Fable 2 on Monday, so playing through that at the moment, then will trade that in and get a PS3 and Little Big Planet next week. I'm definately going to play Fallout 3 and Dead Space on the PC at some point though, they look stunning-had a quick go on Dead Space at a mate's and it's ace.
 
It's pretty decent. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is. As for a PC release if it does come, it will probably be at least a year..
 
yup most likely, by then all the hype about it would have gone, hoping i wont e give in and buy an xbox just to play fable...

I agree it has ! unlike most guys on here i like farcry 2 ok its got its falts!. But still a ok game. Dead Space is a very good game but not as scary as evey one says it is. F.E.A.R is much more scary and ****** up then Dead space And for Red Alert 3 i cant wait . Im a big fan of all the C&c games (LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth 1 & 2 best strategy games or rts games EVER!!!!) .Then fallout 3 not a big fan of 1 or 2 but the 3ed looks amazing

I've bought FarCry 2 and Fallout 3 - will get RA3 at some point too. i like to have the box and discs - reminds me I've got the game, and i tend to keep them rather than trade.
 
I'm not buying any :P

its called XMAS! :) Sod buying them get others to do that for you! :)

hell you will miss like 2 months but then patches will be out!
 
I'm saving Farcry 2 for when my play is over as I'll have time to play it properly. Other then that, I won't be buying the others (or downloading them).
 
I still have not got round to buying warhead, now Im going to have to pick between that, far cry 2 and fallout 3. I hadnt heard of dead space but it doesnt look bad either. At the moment Im tending towards Far Cry 2 as I can get it on steam.

Out of all the games you've listed i would rate deadspace as the best though i've not really looked at fallout 3 properly due to the deadspace addiction.
