An idea for '6-axis' use in a racing game...

How about using '6-axis' as your first person view control from within the car's driving seat.

That way you could be happily driving and looking to the left and right of yourself in the wing mirrors and up at the rear view mirror with ease and with varying degrees. It could be hard to recentre your viewing line to straight ahead and keep it there, but I'm sure if there was a middle 'deadzone' as there is for steering wheels then it could work.

What do you think?

I've seen quite a number of people who lean their bodies when going round corners which would be a disaster if the view changed at the same time as turning :p

haha, I know people that do this. Not just lean in driving games tho, Like bounce about when playing fighting games and stuff.

Funny to watch :D

ok maybe scrap the idea then, unless you could hit a button first to allow it to happen.

I just had the image in my head of someone making the game view spaz out accidentally while trying to play loloololll.111!

I think that the best use of the Six Axis controller is going to come from the Wipeout racing game assuming Studio Liverpool can nail the controls properly. Players of the Wiepout series will have an idea of what I am talking about and know how cool it would be.

Whappers.
